MEET THE BAKER!
Hi Darlings!
I’m Charlie, the owner of Dirty Treats!
I have been baking ever since I can remember; in the kitchen with my Dad, my Mum and any family members that would watch over me as I got creative.
This is a career I have always wanted. Sadly suffering with anxiety for years, I never let my dream come true as I was too afraid of failure.
My Dad was my biggest inspiration when it came to cooking and baking, he was super-talented. I grew up with Dad working in bakeries; taking me to in to work at 3am during school holidays and sneaking me fresh hot jam doughnuts.
He was a fantastic cook and baker and we still use many of his recipes in our menu today.
In 2020 I gave birth to my daughter Summer who was the rainbow in a difficult storm…Only a few months after giving birth my Dad sadly passed away from lung cancer. I was determined to keep his memory alive and to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support so I came up with the idea to bake and sell Dad’s famous mince pies at Christmas. We raised around £350.
From this moment I was on a mission to keep Dad’s memory going and to make him proud. My anxiety disappeared and turned into determination and this is when Dirty Treats was born.
We have not stopped since and I am so grateful to all of my family, friends and customers for their continued support.
Thank you for reading my story & please visit the fundraising page to get involved. Enjoy those Dirty Treats, darlings!

Love Charlie
